Soil nailing technology is an emerging retaining support, firstly used in tunnel and landslide management. The compound of soil layer and soil nail is used to resist soil pressure and other additional loads, then protect excavation face’s stability. While spraying 

concrete to provide constraining force for deformation among soil nailing.   Soil nailing is a technique used to bring soil stability in areas where landslides might be a problem. Soil nail can prevent landslides by inserting hollow bar or steel reinforcement bar into the soil and anchoring them to the soil strata. It is called Soil Nail, because it’s like having a nail being hammered into the soil, where the nails, are the steel bars.

Sinorock soil nail anchor rod is produced in 12 m lengths and then cut to size depending on customer requirements. Standard delivery lengths are 1 m, 2 m, 3m, 4 m and 6 m. Recommended maximum rod lengths depend on diameter and can be up to 6 m. Additional lengths up to 12 m are available on request.

The hollow bar soil nailing system features a hollow bore for flexible ushing, or simultaneous drilling and grouting, and has a left-hand rope thread for connection to standard drill tooling.

The rolling process refines the grain structure of the steel, increasing the yield strength, and producing a durable drill rod suitable for a range of applications. The standard rope thread of the anchor rod produces an excellent bond between the rod and grout, as well as enabling connection to all soil nail face drilling rigs and soil nail surface drill rigs, and use with a wide range of drill steel accessories.
